So I think that ever since I branched off to my own site, my great friends of the LJ community have not been as responsive to any of my posts as they might have been in the past.
This is probably due to the fact that being on an external site engine, it’s a little more difficult to “point, click and comment” on a given post.
To increase the ease of using my site, I have now incorporated a plugin that allows the use of any OpenID user to comment with a little less hassle.
Once you’ve used your OpenID URL to post a comment, you will be temporarily redirected back to the OpenID’s provider page for another prompt. Then you should be able to comment a little more easily on my site, as it will then remember who you are and where you came from.
So, for instance, if you wanted to comment on this post, you would enter your name, email and website in the form below. The website for a LiveJournal user woud be simply username.livejournal.com and let the site handle the rest.
I hope that this added feature will enhance your user experience. Go ahead, try it out on this post!
Let me know what you think.
