So this morning I headed out on a bus to Boston – yes, that’s Boston, Massachusetts, not Austin, Massachusetts! – where Lisa & family live.
The bus was a nice long 4-odd hour long ride, thanks to Greyhound’s partnership with Peter Pan bus line. I had actually reserved, paid and printed my own tickets ahead of time, so all I had to do is get to Port Authority, find my gate and then wait in line.
It worked almost too smoothly, so I was a little suspicious of what lies ahead.
The ride was fairly uneventful, and once arriving to Boston’s South Station, Lisa picked me up and we went to have an Indian lunch, after which we ended up at her house outside Boston.
The main purpose of the trip, fixing her laptop’s cracked LCD screen, was accomplished without much problems – only minimal confusion, and final completion – I’m actually writing this on the repaired laptop.
So we’re going to have a relaxed afternoon and evening of pizza and fireworks, and we might check out the local science museum tomorrow morning.
After that, it’ll be back to the city for me, and on to another fun-filled work week. (This past one was a lot of fun. More on these stories, and more, at 10!)
Hope your weekend is as eventful as mine!
